Last week of Summer: Off to a Good Start

It figures I had to wait until the last week of summer to get some fun waves. I didn't snap many photos, but I got about 30 rides between last night and today on the east swell. Surf arrived on Monday afternoon and built into Tuesday morning. The broken up wind blown waves of Monday evening were actually more fun to ride than the glassy waves the following morning. The swell was almost directly east so the angle was causing a lot of closeouts. Nonetheless there were plenty of corners and shoulders to scratch into. Lips and floaters... a bunch of turns and tail slides. I love riding my Puddle Fish Twin Fin. Perfect board for walled up waist to shoulder high surf. The water was warm around 70 and the sun was out. I can't ask for much more than that during the summer time. Back to work next week. Sigh. Winter will be here before we know it.
