Damage Report

A busted rail and a missing Reactor fin for the Jumbo Sting fish. It's not a huge ding in size, but it is a couple inches of the rail, and needs more than a dab of SunCure... so I'm going to leave this repair to the pros. There are a bunch of options actually, but I think I'm going to drop it off at the Quiet Flight factory, talk a little story, maybe even hang another order form on the wall for Bruce. But I love my custom Sting Fish fun shape, it goes really good for me at 7'6 x 22 x 2.75. I highly recommend this board model to any Florida surfer. I ride most of my hybrids, fish, fun shapes around that width and thickness, with variations in rockers, rails, tails, and bottoms from board to board. Outside of shortboards, most of my quiver is 22 x 2.75. Those are my magic numbers right now. I think we'll have more opportunities in March to surf, it's one of the more active months in Florida. Fingers crossed the Sting Fish returns from the factory sooner than later. I hope you're surfing where you are! Busted board sequence and video below...
